Secret Warriors #25
I really liked how Hickman tied up some loose threads in Fury’s backstory. It was stated back in issue #27 of Sgt. Fury that he was going to lose his eyesight in his left eye, but how he lost the eye was never stated.

The Story: Ignore everything you’ve heard about when this series is ending! IT’S NOT THIS ISSUE. Jonathan Hickman lost his mind and wrote too huge an ending to just be contained in ONE ISSUE! Join us this month for the PENULTIMATE issue of SECRET WARRIORS! It’s Wheels within Wheels, Part 4: I’LL SLEEP WHEN I’M DEAD
(Odd thing is this cover is listed as the cover of Secret Avengers #13 in the Images section.)
Secret Warriors #8
My name is John Garrett and I’m here because the word came down from on high. I’m here because this is where Nick Fury told me to be.
I…I don’t understand…Fury told me to leave. He kicked me out.
Don’t be an idiot, son. There is no out.
